KINGWOOD, Texas — The Alvin College Lady Dolphins closed out the Spring 2026 season the only way champions do — battling through pressure, responding with resilience, and finishing the job.
The Alvin College Lady Dolphins finished conference play on a high note Wednesday night, sweeping Houston City College in straight sets at home to officially lock up second place in the Lone Star Sport Club Conference. Alvin controlled the opening two sets with ease before showing composure late in a competitive third set to complete the 3-0 victory.
Behind an electric home crowd and three strong sets of control volleyball, Alvin College powered past Lone Star College–Montgomery in a four-set victory on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, feeding off the energy in the gym from start to finish.
Alvin College battled through three tight sets but fell to Lone Star College–Houston North on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 27–29, 24–26, 23–25. The Dolphins move to 1–1 in Lone Star Sport Club Conference play.
Alvin Community College’s Club Volleyball team finished in 2nd place during the Lone Star Sport Club Conference Tournament over the weekend.
