Brammer Dolphin Player of the Week
Alvin College Softball is proud to recognize Sophie Brammer, sophomore from Richmond, Texas, as this week's Player of the Week.
Brammer continues to be a dominant force in the circle for Alvin College. So far this season, she has pitched 42.1 innings, recording 35 strikeouts with an impressive 2.81 ERA. Her presence in the circle, combined with her outstanding softball IQ, makes her a key leader for the team.
In the most recent two games, Brammer made a major impact both in the circle and at the plate. She earned the win after pitching 5.0 innings, allowing just 2 hits, 0 runs, and striking out 5 batters while issuing only 1 walk. She also added 3.0 scoreless innings, allowing 1 hit and striking out 5 to help secure the sweep.
Offensively, Brammer contributed with a double, 2 RBIs, and showed her speed on the bases with 4 total stolen bases over the two games.
