2026 Dolphin Baseball Second Team All Conference
Sophomore catcher Nayden Ramirez from Puerto Rico earned Second Team All-Conference honors after putting together an outstanding all-around season behind the plate and at the plate. Ramirez started all 50 games and finished the year with a .343 batting average, collecting 58 hits, 19 doubles, and eight home runs while driving in 37 runs.
He posted a strong .598 slugging percentage and a .434 on-base percentage, consistently providing offensive production in the middle of the lineup. Defensively, Ramirez was equally impressive, recording 276 putouts with a .984 fielding percentage while serving as a steady leader behind the plate. His combination of offensive power, defensive reliability, and leadership made him one of the top catchers in the conference during his sophomore campaign.
Freshman pitcher Cole Fenton from New Jersey earned Second Team All-Conference honors following an impressive debut season on the mound. Fenton made 15 starts and became a key part of the pitching rotation, finishing the year with a 4-6 record and a 3.71 ERA across 77.2 innings pitched.
He showcased durability and competitiveness throughout the season, recording seven complete games and two shutouts while striking out an impressive 88 batters. Fenton consistently gave his team quality starts and demonstrated poise beyond his years against conference competition. His strong freshman campaign established him as one of the program's top emerging pitchers and a reliable presence in the rotation.
