Alvin Community College’s FINZ Esports Overwatch 2 Team Advances to Nationals

With the top 8 teams of the Overwatch 2 season advancing to the playoffs, and ACC being in 6th place, the FINZ will have a shot at competing for a championship. ACC will play the quarter final round of the playoffs on April 16th, against Madison College, which is from Madison Wisconsin. 

This season was the first for the Overwatch 2 Team. It was a successful first year under Team Captain Andrew Cortez (Holymexican), Kurt Juncker (KRTIOUS), Natalie Sells (ChillieFox), Evan Ybarra (Soaperator), and McKinley Jackson (Popman10) as the team finished with a 4-3 record during the regular season.
