ACC Club Volleyball Finishes Inaugural Season

Alvin Community College’s Club Volleyball team completed their first season on Saturday November 9th, with a loss to LSC-Cy Fair in the Lonestar Conference Postseason Tournament at LSC- North Harris. The Dolphins Club Volleyball team, lead by Head Coach Alissa Rios, finished 5-3 on the year, after starting 5-0.

Highlights of the season include: 

  • Starting the season with a win at home against Texas Southern, in the first ACC Volleyball game since 2007.
  • Defeating LSC-Kingwood in set three by a score of 25-2 for the sweep.
  • Defeating Houston Community College in five sets after being down two sets to one, to start the season 5-0.
  • Coryn Breaux earning All-Tournament Team honors for her play in the playoff tournament.
